The Rugby Klub Bratislava has hosted his second English team in Tour. With Leodiensian, the Bratislava boys wanted a revenge after being defeated heavily the week-end before.
We were expecting a more balanced game against Leodiensian, as the previous team was on a different level.
Our squad was pretty tight again, due to few injuries and absents during this exam period. However, the starting squad was well composed and the whole forwards and back line pretty balanced.
We would mention this entertaining game was a rugby champagne, with beautiful actions from both sides, each team taking advantages of mistakes made, taking the gap in to score some beautiful tries, or stolen tries as well.
We were disappointed for not winning that test match, specially our trainer Zulf, who saw opportunities missed, and tries given for free.
Possibly one of our best match this season so far, and we have felt a closed group, a rugby family spirit before the game for installing the pitch, during where’s everyone fighting on each action to hold the score, and after at our third half.

During our traditional barbecue, the old boys of Leodiensian has celebrating the weeding of the prince Harry, in front of the most Frenchie player in Central Europe.
Making joke of the British flag, our visitors didn’t appreciate it and punished the guilty one forcing him to eat a pure chili. Fair enough and well deserved, 1-1 at the end of the third half.
For our British members, it was surely a connection to their community on that special day with the royal family. For everyone, it was an excuse to create a good atmosphere around good drinks and sausages.
