A wonderfull day for the Rugby Klub Bratislava, hosting our friends from Den.
Thanks to Emile and his father, President of the rugby club D., we were able to welcome them in Bratislava during a rugby Tour.
Fantastic starting from the RKB, scoring a try 13vs15 when it was announced to play at 13 players only and they set the squad of 15.
Then obviously we have moved 15vs15.
Scoring two tries at the beginning, they strike back two tries as well thanks to heavy forwards and couple mistakes from our side, giving space to them for coming back to the score.
One more try from each side, we were able to win thanks to a fourth try from the RKB at the end.
Great third half as well, where our hosts have exploded the record of beers drunken. Fantastic ceremony for sharing gifts and congratulations.
Very pleased venue, clear match when finally we were able to win against a competitive squad, clearing up the two previous home matches were our squad didn’t have cohesion at all and giving spaces all around.
Thanks to all volunteers for the pitch, and cleaning up after all.

Privítali sme na našom ihrisku našich priateľov z Dendermonde a zažili sme úžasný deň.
Vďaka Emilovi a jeho otcovi, prezidentovi rugbyového klubu z Dendermonde, sme privítali priateľov z Belgicka na našom ihrisku.
RKB malo úžasný štart, keď sme skórovali prvú päťku v oslabení 13 vs 15. Došlo totiž k nedorozumeniu, pôvodne sme si mysleli, že hráme 13 na 13, no súper postavil plnú zostavu. Samozrejme, po zistení sme i my doplnili tím na 15 hráčov.
Hneď na začiatku sme skórovali dve päťky, no súper na ne odpovedal dvomi svojimi. Darilo sa im najmä vďaka ťažkému roju a viacerým chybám na našej strane, ktoré im umožnili vrátiť sa do zápasu. Súper potom skóroval ešte raz, no RKB až dvakrát, takže sme zaznamenalivíťazstvo.
Zažili sme aj krásny tretí polčas, keď naši hostia prekonali rekord v počte vypitých pív. Fantastická ceremónia na ktorej sme si vymenili darčeky i gratulácie.
Veľmi príjemné prostredie, dobrý zápas proti silnému súperovi, v ktorom sme konečne dokázali zvíťaziť, čím sme odčinili dva predchádzajúce domáce zápasy, v ktorých sme doplatili na nedostatok súdržnosti a dopriali sme súperom príliš veľa voľného priestoru.
Ďakujeme všetkým dobrovoľníkom za prípravu ihriska a následné upratovanie.
