Detský turnaj, Čunovo – Bratislava
V sobotu 10. júna 2017 si deti zmerali sily v dvoch kategóriách, mini rugby U8-10 a juniori U12-14. Na turnaji sa zúčastnili ako organizátor Slovan Bratislava, RKB, Trnava, Piešťany a Brno.
Mini rugby bolo fantastické a v porovnaní s predchádzajúcimi turnajmi sme boli svedkami veľkého zlepšenia. Hoci sa stále dá pracovať predovšetkým na lepších prihrávkach a neminutých skládkach, videli sme, že najmladší majú prehľad a napríklad sa už naučili ako správne zakladať ruck.
Juniori U12-14 robia mesiac čo mesiac veľké pokroky. Jasne vidím potenciál a budúcich hráčov pre seniorský tím a prípadne pre juniorskú reprezentáciu. Rugby Klub Bratislava sa spojil s Rugby Club Spartak Trnava, keďže veľa našich juniorov už je na dovolenkách alebo sa nemohli zúčastniť z iného dôvodu. Chýbal aj asistent trénera.
Podľa môjho subjektívneho pohľadu bol najlepším hráčom tímu a možno aj celého turnaja Tomáš. Marek robil veľké prieniky do obrany a na jeho zastavenie boli treba traja a viacerí hráči. Tom, ktorý je vekovo medzi kategóriami, chcel hrať s najstaršími a vyrovnal sa vďaka svojej rýchlosti a zručnosti aj väčším súperom.
Náš malý Teo v kategórii mini rugby hral so Slovanom a predviedol fantastické prieniky a jasný prehľad v porovnaní s deťmi jeho veku. Presné kopy a dobrá obrana z neho spravili platného hráča a určite bude žiadanou posilou pre ďalšie turnaje.
RKB myslí aj na nášho bojovníka Jakuba, ktorý si na poslednom turnaji poranil ruku, takže nemohol hrať. Napriek tomu prišiel aj s rodičmi podporiť spoluhráčov.
RKB ďakuje Slovanu za skvelú organizáciu, Julovi za nahrávanie videí, Lukášovi za trénovanie zmiešaného tímu RKB-TT a mne ako fotografovi.

On Saturday 10th June 2017, the children has competed with two categories mini-rugby U8-10 and the juniors U12-14.
The clubs represented were the Slovan home organizer, Bratislava, Trnava, Piestany and Brno from CZ.
The mini-rugby were fantastic with a great improvement since the last tournaments. Too many tackles missed and passes could be improved, but we saw the youths had a good vision, and started for example to set correctly a ruck.
For the juniors U12-14, the youths moved a big step forward month after month, and I can see clearly potential and future players for the seniors squad, eventually for the Juniors U18 national team.
The Rugby Klub Bratislava has been associated with the Rugby Club Spartak Trnava, as we had couple of juniors in holiday or involved in different activities missing more than half the squad and our assistant trainer himself.
On my very subjective perspective, I would nominate Tomas as the best player of the team and potential the best player of the tournament for children. Marek made terrific shocks into the defense, where they needed to be 3 players or more to tackle him down.
Tom, who is between the two categories wanted to play with the oldest for bigger challenges and was able to counter taller opponents with speed and handling abilities.
Our little Teo who was involved with the mini-rugby Slovan Bratislava to compose a full team showed fantastic runs and clear and better vision comparing to the children of his age. Kicking with accuracy and with good defense, he made a big impact into the mini-rugby squad and sure he would be very desired for the next competitions.
The Bratislava Rugby school is thinking about our warrior Jakub who has injured his hand last tournament in Bratislava and was not able to participate but made effort with his parents to support the crew.
